We built this microsite to show you how Bread & Butter IO works with Webflow. If you are looking to use Bread & Butter IO on a different platform check us out at breadbutter.io
A little background on Bread & Butter IO, our core team built DeliverySlip (a secure messaging application) and operated it for over 12 years. Our customers constantly asked about allowing their users to sign in using existing social accounts like Google and Facebook. They also asked about identity providers like Okta, OneLogin, and Siteminder; we inadvertently became experts in authentication and identity. Configuring our website and application to allow users to login with their trusted social accounts came with benefits we hadn't realized. More visitors were converting and buying our product. By making it simpler for visitors to become customers, our revenue went up by 70%+. We sold DeliverySlip in may of 2019, but the idea of an easy-to-implement SSO (single sign-on) was always top of mind.
We had to share this benefit with others, so Bread & Butter IO was born. We spent the following two years working on an interface that would make it even easier to implement SSO and drive conversions.
Building upon our experience from the DeliverySlip days, we created an API-first scalable architecture that addressed all our previous customers' needs but with an added twist. Our API allows you to support the popular SSO options like Google, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Apple, and enterprise identity providers like Microsoft, Okta, and OneLogin. After adding our script tag to your website, you have the flexibility to accept the SSO options your customers want to drive conversion and modern API-event analytics in one complete solution. Additionally, you get control over user access to your system. Want to block a user permanently or temporarily? Want to revoke access or stop an entire region of the world? Our dashboard and map make it easy.
Why Webflow? Well, Webflow makes it easy to build websites, but there aren't any easy ways to convert visitors or get API-event analytics without having to hire a group of developers and burning multiple sprints or cycles. Since no-code is the future, we wanted to make life easier for the Webflow community and help digital agencies and web vendors remove friction to conversion as simply as possible. But we are far from done.
Bread & Butter IO has a roadmap for future development, but our product will always do one (complicated) thing very well at its core.
We Want to Hear From You
Like any application, it isn't happy unless it's doing its job. So we are keen to have designers try it, make it live, and offer your feedback. Your installs and reviews are very helpful, and the feedback you give will help shape the future of the product.
